Richard H. Glazer is a trial lawyer in Cincinnati, Ohio engaged in a litigation practice with the primary emphasis on the representation of landowners in condemnation matters. Mr. Glazer graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.B.A. in Economics and received his J.D. from the Ohio State University. Mr. Glazer has been a Lecturer on Business Law at the University of Cincinnati's College of Business Administration. From 1973-1982, Mr. Glazer headed the Eminent Domain Office which the Ohio Attorney General maintained in Cincinnati, Ohio representing the Ohio Department of Transportation in condemnation cases pertaining to various interstate highways and bridges. Mr. Glazer authored a manual on Ohio Eminent Domain Law for the Attorney General's office.
Mr. Glazer has over 30 years of experience in a wide range of appropriation matters. He has represented landowners in takings pertaining to the expansion of a public library; takings involving the Kentucky Speedway, aviation easements for an airport expansion; takings by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a dam project; appropriations involving banks, shopping centers, office complexes, apartment complexes, motels, ball parks, restaurants, car dealerships, service stations, veterinary clinics and hospitals; takings involving urban renewal, churches, water and sewer lines, power lines, and various commercial and residential property.
Mr. Glazer is a member of the American Association for Justice, The Ohio Association for Justice, American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Hamilton County Trial Lawyers Association.
